Re: Camera Recommendations

There are no unbiased reviews as far as I can tell. Everyone is on the take one way or the other. I got a bunch of the Dahuas that were recommended on another site a few years ago and they seem fine.

This seems like this would be a great offsite backup solution.
I don't think the raw data gets moved from instance to instance so using it as backup might not be viable.

Re: Values to keep alerts to a minimum

You can use a schedule to block out time windows where you know there will be a lot of activity such as arrival of employees. For the cats at night... sorry, can't think of any solution to that. Maybe tweak the object size setting to try to only trigger on human size objects. Wait for x times before...

Homer, you are wasting your breath. We've all tried before with no reaction from the single admin who barely spends any time here. This is how they want to manage (or not) the forum.

Re: Camera Identification

What is the result when you put the camera ip address and credentials into the camera setup and hit the find/inpect button? That step should pull all of the ONVIF settings.

By the way... What makes a camera an LPR camera?

If everything is working fine, there isn't much need to perform extra steps :)

Re: No Signal on Reolink

What do you get when you find/inspect the camera. BI uses the video stream URL with credentials rather than the full web interface.
