Hello
I'm interested in loading Blue Iris on an HP DL380 Gen 7 w/24g server running Windows Server 2016.
My question is A: Is there any known issues running BI under Server 2016 and B: Will the onboard video card handle the video demand or would it be better to just open the server via the BI web portal to the internal LAN.

Re: New Server Prospect
I have a Dell 710R (same CPU as DL380 G7) running Hyper-V 2016 Server. 12 cores/144G RAM. My BlueIris server is running as a VM - 4 cores, 8G RAM, 80G C: and 250G D: for video. BI is running as a service with web on port 80 - internal LAN access only. Currently hosting 3 cameras - 1G, 1.3G and 2G. I have 3 more 2G cameras on order. No issues during installation. CPU load is typically 25% with <600MB RAM utilization while idle as reported by BI. I have the BI console running on the server and have an active web connection. I ran on a dedicated PC, AMD 8C / 32G RAM, GPU for a week to test everything before moving to the server.
We run Milestone with 8 cameras at work, all 2G on a similar host/guest configuration with no issues, FWIW.

I'm running an instance of BI on Server 2012 and have had no issues. If I remember correctly, there was some additional software piece I had to load that didn't come standard on Server 2012 but I don't recall exactly what it was. It wasn't hard to find though.
