CUDA Support

Post by DeFlanko » Mon Apr 23, 2018 9:44 pm

Would be nice to utilize my nVidia GPU's for Transcoding instead of solely CPU and specific Intel CPU's.

Any plans to implement CUDA processing?

I cannot agree more with the need for CUDA (GPU offloading in general) support. In my opinion, this is the single biggest thing that I find lacking in Blue Iris.

LuciferMabus - Please don't wish for development to stop because of a problem with your setup. What you're describing is not normal so you need to troubleshoot it. Start your own thread in an appropriate sub-forum and see if you can get to the bottom of your issue. Bottom line is that it is your issue or you may have found a bug that Support needs to address but that's on you and irrelevant to this thread.

Jeez I'm Running 55 cameras on 1024x768 at about 10fps at abot 33% CPU load, is that going to help me double resoulution and FPS? And what is good video card to use?

Any driver greater than 4.1 will work. Only the cuda toolkit version needs to match.
