Profile on Encoder Options

Post by tchnt » Fri Aug 31, 2018 4:14 pm

Hello everyone,

At Options > Web Server > Advanced > Configure.

At Advanced we have a Profile setting, having as options:

default
baseline
main
extended
high
high 10

What's the meaning of them?

The 'profile' options seem to be missing from the help file. Not even listed in the example.

I'm new to the software so not too up on anything but I can google like nobody's bidness.

Search for high 10 on this page to get right to what you're looking for but it's info about the codec.

From developer:

"You should use Main or Default only. This control should be removed."
