Post by IseeUgopee » Sat Sep 29, 2018 8:54 am

Newbie here! Just wondering if it is possible to view the BI mobile app on my home Network without having my PC on? I can't seem to get the app to work when I shut my computer off... Any advice on this matter is greatly appreciated!!!

No. True story. Do you have to have the software on and your computer up and running in order to view it on the mobile app as well?

Yes. 1) it needs to be on so that it can record and 2) it needs to be on to respond to any external requests for footage. The smirks are because to those who are even modestly technically savvy it only makes sense that it needs to be on in order to respond.

Thank You, HeneryH. Much appreciated. I usually don't leave my computer running when I'm not using it. However, since I paid for the software AND the mobile app I suppose I should start leaving it turned on.

Sorry, it can't do much if it is powered off. Seems like a system requirement that can be taken for granted that it is powered on.

Do I understand correctly that the mobile app ONLY works with the Network Professional MS v18 SP2 and higher and DOES NOT work with other MS versions, such as the v18 SP2 Single User Advanced?
